The OPPO Photography Awards aim to support creators, showcase their perspectives worldwide, and inspire audiences to find the extraordinary in everyday life, embodying the essence of 'Super Every Moment.'
The 2025 OPPO Photography Awards recognized 10 photographers with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards for their outstanding visual storytelling. The Gold Award was presented to Boooya for his project "Dialect – The Fading Voice," which sheds light on the cultural crisis of disappearing dialects through powerful imagery. The series was praised for its conceptual clarity and emotional impact, earning Boooya a grand prize of USD 25,000 and OPPO's latest flagship devices.
Among the Silver Award recipients was Ray Cheung, whose work "Person from Another Place" captured a poignant moment of solitude in a winter scene in St. Petersburg. The Bronze Award winners, including Abdullah Salah's "Timeless Framing," showcased cultural diversity and vitality through their captivating images.
The top works from this year's competition demonstrate the depth, insight, and technical excellence that mobile photography can achieve. The expanded submission categories highlighted diverse talents and moments, recognizing 60 photographers across Category Awards, Honorable Mention, Audience's Choice, and Regional Awards.
