Dierks Bentley to Headline Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Fan Fest: A Musical Extravaganza Before the College Football Playoff Semifinal
Country music star Dierks Bentley is set to headline the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl’s Fan Fest before the College Football Playoff semifinal game on January 8 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This marks the first time the Fan Fest will feature a national-level musical act, with Bentley performing on the Vrbo Sound Stage. The Fiesta Sports Foundation (FSF) executive director & CEO Erik Moses expressed excitement about creating memorable experiences for fans during the playoff semifinal event.
FSF collaborated with Jesse Collins Entertainment (JCE) to book Bentley for the event. JCE, known for producing prestigious awards shows like the Grammys and Emmys, is also assisting with production, creative execution, and broadcast coordination with ESPN. Bentley, an Arizona native, shared his enthusiasm for being part of the Fiesta Bowl and getting the party started with his performance. The family-friendly Fan Fest, starting at 12:30 p.m. on game day, will offer music, interactive games, sponsor activations, and food & drink options.
Attendees can enjoy the free Fan Fest activities, including Bentley's performance, or choose to purchase entry to Club ’71 for an enhanced viewing experience of the concert. The Grammy-nominated duo The War & Treaty will perform the National Anthem at the game. The Fiesta Bowl will feature the winners of the CFP quarterfinals at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl and Allstate Sugar Bowl. The victorious team from the Fiesta Bowl will advance to the CFP championship on January 19.
Before the Fiesta Bowl, Bentley, who recently released his 11th studio album, Broken Branches, will perform at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash on CBS on December 31. The event promises an exciting pregame experience for fans, with a lineup of musical performances and entertainment to match the significance of the playoff game.
