Keith Urban Spreads Holiday Cheer at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital with Music Therapy Donation

Keith Urban recently visited Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville to spread some holiday cheer. During his visit, the country star spent time with patients and their families, answering questions, posing for photos, and leading a patient sing-along during a special acoustic performance. Urban also generously donated guitars to the hospital’s music therapy program, which uses personalized music interventions to support children and families through emotional care, pain and anxiety management, developmental goals, coping skills, and overall well-being.

Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, president of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, expressed gratitude for Keith Urban's visit and his donation of guitars to the Music Therapy Program. Urban's thoughtful gesture will help bring comfort and healing to children during their hospital stay. This visit comes on the heels of the release of Urban's first-ever live album, HIGH AND A(LIVE), which captures the energy and excitement of his recent HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR. The album features some of Urban's biggest hits, including "Blue Ain’t Your Color," "One Too Many," "Somebody Like You," and "Wasted Time," as well as a cover of New Radicals’ “You Get What You Give.”
