Quarterback Beau Pribula to Enter Transfer Portal: A Look at His Season with Missouri
Quarterback Beau Pribula is set to enter the transfer portal in January after spending just one season at Missouri. Pribula transferred from Penn State before the 2025 season and secured the starting position for the Tigers. However, his performance declined during SEC play, impacting Missouri's offense. In 10 games, Pribula threw for 1,941 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions, while also rushing for 297 yards and 6 scores. He missed two games due to a dislocated ankle but returned for a loss against Oklahoma.
During the game against Oklahoma, Pribula struggled, throwing for 231 yards and 2 interceptions in a 17-6 loss. The following week, he had limited passing attempts in a win over Arkansas as Missouri heavily relied on the running game. If Pribula does not play in the Gator Bowl on Dec. 27, Zollers will make his third start of the season. Pribula's decision to enter the transfer portal aligns with the timing of the single transfer window opening on Jan. 2, after most bowl games are completed.
Pribula's move to explore transfer options follows a trend among starting quarterbacks, including Florida’s DJ Lagway, Nebraska’s Dylan Raiola, and North Texas’ Drew Mestemaker. As the transfer portal window approaches, Pribula joins a growing list of quarterbacks looking for new opportunities.
