Teenagers Arrested After Carjacking and Police Chase in Northeast Philly

Three teenagers were arrested after allegedly carjacking an SUV in Northeast Philly and leading police on a chase that involved hitting a police vehicle and firing a shot at officers before being captured in West Philadelphia. The incident began when two teens, one armed with a handgun, approached a man at a gas station and stole his car keys. They then fled in the victim's vehicle, followed by a third individual in a separate getaway car. The stolen vehicle was tracked to West Philadelphia, where a pursuit ensued, culminating in the teens abandoning the car and fleeing on foot. One of the teens reportedly fired a shot at officers but was apprehended shortly after. The other two teens were also captured without incident. Thankfully, no one was injured during the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
