Sri Lanka is gearing up to host the first-ever three-day reggae music festival in South Asia, One Love 2026 – A Tribute to Bob Marley, which will be held in Bentota from March 27 to 29, 2026. This groundbreaking event will feature six globally renowned reggae artists, including Maxi Priest, The Wailers, Julian Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, Inner Circle, and Big Mountain. The festival is set to be one of the largest reggae gatherings in the Asia-Pacific region.

Each evening of the festival will kick off at 5.00 p.m. with two headline acts closing the night. The first day will showcase The Wailers and Maxi Priest, followed by Inner Circle and Big Mountain on the second day. The festival will culminate on the third day with performances by Julian Marley and Ky-Mani Marley. Additionally, four international DJs will entertain the audience throughout the three-day event.

The announcement of the festival was made at a press conference in Colombo, where Maxi Priest, virtually joining from New York, expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Sri Lanka. The organizers anticipate a significant international turnout, with attendees expected from countries like India, the Maldives, and Bangladesh, solidifying Sri Lanka's position as a burgeoning destination for global music tourism.

One Love 2026 is being coordinated by One In A Million Entertainment Ltd., a Sri Lankan-owned company based in Europe and Colombo, in partnership with Caribbean Entertainment. The organizers have a track record of bringing top reggae artists like Shaggy, Diana King, and Big Mountain to Sri Lanka, showcasing their commitment to promoting reggae music in the country.

In conclusion, One Love 2026 promises to be a historic event that will put Sri Lanka on the map as a vibrant hub for reggae music in the region. With an impressive lineup of artists and international attendees expected, the festival is poised to be a memorable celebration of music and culture in the picturesque coastal town of Bentota.
