My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary Celebration: New Episode, Global Concert Tour, and Special Visual Unveiled!

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of "My Hero Academia The Animation," Toho has announced exciting plans including a new episode, global concert tour, and a special visual at Jump Festa. The anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's manga has reached a significant milestone after eight seasons and 170 episodes over a decade-long run.
A brand-new episode titled "More" is set to premiere on May 2, 2026, exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide outside Asia. This episode will adapt content from the manga's 431st chapter, offering a continuation of the story beyond the original anime conclusion, following protagonist Deku and his classmates eight years after their graduation from U.A. High School.
"My Hero Academia" follows the journey of Izuku Midoriya, a boy without superpowers in a world where most people have Quirks. The series showcases Midoriya's training at U.A. High School to become a professional hero, along with his classmates as they develop their abilities and face the challenges of hero society.
Toho also announced "My Hero Academia in Concert," a global tour featuring composer Yuki Hayashi's music paired with scenes from the anime. The tour will kick off on May 30, 2026, at Pacifico Yokohama before heading to international locations. Additionally, a special 10th-anniversary logo and teaser visual were unveiled at Jump Festa, featuring 10 versions of Deku throughout his evolution as a hero.
The 10th-anniversary celebration marks a significant milestone for the franchise, which has seen immense success with Horikoshi's manga selling over 100 million copies worldwide. The official anniversary festivities will commence on April 3, 2026, exactly a decade after the anime's debut. Toho has hinted at more projects, collaborations, and events to be announced throughout the year, promising an exciting year ahead for "My Hero Academia" fans.
