Lewis Pullman recently shared his excitement about wrapping up the highly anticipated sequel to Spaceballs, describing the experience as surreal and a dream come true. The actor expressed his disbelief at the opportunity to work alongside his father, Bill Pullman, who starred in the original Spaceballs film. The new installment, titled Spaceballs 2, is set to continue the satirical space epic tradition with returning cast members Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, and Daphne Zuniga, as well as Mel Brooks. Joining the cast are newcomers Keke Palmer, Anthony Carrigan, and Josh Gad, who also contributed to the script. Directed by Josh Greenbaum, the production of Spaceballs 2 began in September and is scheduled for release in 2027.
