Sir Brian May, the guitarist of Queen, is set to unveil an unreleased Queen track titled "Not For Sale (Polar Bear)" during a special festive broadcast on Planet Rock. The song was originally recorded during the sessions for Queen's 1974 album, Queen II, but did not make it to the final album. This version of the song has never been heard before, and Sir Brian is excited to share it with fans. The track will also be included in the upcoming 2026 re-release of the Queen II album.
Fans can tune in to Sir Brian's Planet Rock Christmas Special on Monday at 6pm to hear the exclusive premiere of "Not For Sale (Polar Bear)." The radio show will feature a selection of Sir Brian's favorite Christmas and seasonal tracks, as well as reflections on his own Christmas memories and music that has shaped his holidays over the years. The broadcast will also include a Christmas hit by Sir Brian's wife, Anita Dobson, along with tunes from artists like Bad News, Slade, Chuck Berry, and The Crystals.
