In a touching tribute, Shirlane Hendrickson, the general secretary of Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO), delivered a heartfelt eulogy for her late mother, Wilma Hendrickson, who passed away at the age of 88 on December 12. The memorial service, held on December 19 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, brought together family, friends, and community members to honor Wilma's life characterized by love, resilience, and selfless service. Shirlane's tribute highlighted her mother's role as a motivator, prayer warrior, and unwavering source of support during challenging times.
Shirlane shared memories of her mother's dedication to her family, including her five children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, emphasizing the values of education, guidance, and dignity that Wilma instilled in them. Following the service, a burial took place at Western Cemetery in St James, marking the final farewell to Wilma Hendrickson. The tribute captured the essence of a life well-lived, filled with love, dedication, and a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
