Yo La Tengo recently wrapped up their annual Hanukkah residency at New York’s Bowery Ballroom with three final shows. The indie trio's holiday celebration featured special guests like Jeff Tweedy, Lucinda Williams, and David Mansfield, as well as comedians Jo Firestone, Al Madrigal, and Jon Benjamin.

The sixth show kicked off with Jeff Tweedy and his sons performing a set of solo originals, followed by stand-up from Jo Firestone. Yo La Tengo then took the stage with the Tweedys for a set that included covers and fan-favorites, ending with a series of Herman's Hermits covers.

Saturday's show featured Lucinda Williams performing songs from her upcoming album, with comedian Al Madrigal entertaining the crowd during the intermission. David Mansfield joined Yo La Tengo for a guest spot, adding violin and pedal steel to their setlist, which included rarities and classics.

The final show on Sunday included an opening set from Florry and stand-up from Jon Benjamin. A horn section of returning guests added depth to Yo La Tengo's performance, playing covers and new songs from their latest album. Fiddlers Peter Stampfel and Stephanie Coleman also joined the band for a couple of covers to close out the residency.

In conclusion, Yo La Tengo's Hanukkah residency at Bowery Ballroom was a festive and star-studded affair, featuring a diverse lineup of musical and comedic talent that delighted audiences over eight nights.
