Quarterback Brock Glenn Enters Transfer Portal: What It Means for Florida State Football

Quarterback Brock Glenn has decided to leave the Florida State football team and is set to enter the transfer portal. Glenn, who hails from Covington, Tennessee, has been a part of the Seminoles for three seasons, starting seven games out of 16. During his time at FSU, he completed 76 passes out of 175 attempts for 895 yards, six touchdowns, and seven interceptions. This season, he played in four games, throwing for 69 yards and two touchdowns on 6 of 10 passes.

Glenn, a former four-star recruit, was called upon to start as a freshman in 2023 during the ACC Championship game due to injuries to other quarterbacks. In the following season, he took over for DJ Uiagalelei after an injury and split playing time with Luke Kromehoek. Glenn finished the season with 51 completions out of 114 attempts for 597 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions, while also rushing for 97 yards.

With Glenn's departure, freshman quarterback Kevin Sperry remains as the sole active quarterback on Florida State's roster. The transfer portal window is set to open on Jan. 2 and close on Jan. 16. FSU will need to address the quarterback position as they move forward without Glenn.
