Wolverhampton Literature Festival: A Diverse Celebration of Creativity and Culture

The Wolverhampton Literature Festival has announced a diverse lineup of acts covering various genres such as literature, poetry, dance, and more. The festival will feature events from Friday, February 6 to Sunday, February 8, with pre-Festival events starting on Saturday, January 31. Acclaimed author Natalie Haynes will discuss her new book, "No Friend to This House," a retelling of the myth of Medea and Jason. Additionally, there will be a documentary screening and Q&A session with Justin Hardy and Chris Nunn for the companion book to the documentary "Children Of The Wicker Man."

Two top thriller writers, Mark Edwards and TM Logan, will also be part of the festival. Mark Edwards will present a twisting psychological drama in "The Wasp Trap," while TM Logan will delve into a story of friends renting a farmhouse in "The Weekend," filled with secrets, blackmail, and tragedy. The festival will also feature broadcaster and novelist Stuart Maconie, who will discuss the Beatles' impact on culture and society beyond their iconic music.

Councillor Chris Burden encourages everyone to participate in the festival, which offers over 90 events catering to various interests, from poetry to family-friendly entertainment.
