Hit-and-Run Incident Injures Pregnant Woman and Teen on Southeast Side of San Antonio

A hit-and-run incident on the Southeast Side of San Antonio left a pregnant woman and a teenage passenger injured and hospitalized. The collision occurred late at night on Pecan Valley Drive near the IH-37 South access road. A Jeep Compass was hit by a Toyota Camry that failed to yield while making a turn onto the access road. The Camry driver fled the scene, leaving the occupants of the Jeep with minor injuries. The pregnant woman, who was driving the Jeep, and her 18-year-old passenger were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Camry driver was later apprehended by the San Antonio Police Department.
