Dog Attacks in Gamaliel: Monroe County Sheriff's Office Investigates Two Incidents Near Soccer Field
A woman in Gamaliel was attacked by four dogs while walking near the soccer field on Washington Street. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident, where the woman suffered lacerations, broken bones, and crush injuries. She was initially treated at the Medical Center at Bowling Green before being flown to Nashville for further treatment. One of the dogs involved was located and euthanized, while the other three remain missing. Another dog attack occurred the following day near the same soccer field, involving a juvenile who was injured. The owner of the dogs involved in the second attack was cited.
