Actor Mickey Rourke Faces Eviction Over Unpaid Rent in Los Angeles Bungalow

Mickey Rourke is currently facing potential eviction from a bungalow in Los Angeles due to unpaid rent amounting to nearly $60,000, as per a lawsuit filed recently. Rourke, whose real name is Philip Andre Rourke Jr, initially agreed to pay $5,200 a month for the property, which later increased to $7,000 a month.
The three-bedroom bungalow, constructed in 1926, is situated close to the LA County Museum of Art and the Los Angeles Farmer’s Market. Rourke was served a notice on Dec. 18 by his landlord, Eric Goldie, demanding payment of the outstanding rent or vacating the premises.
The landlord is seeking compensation for damages and attorney fees in the lawsuit filed against Rourke. Fox News Digital has reached out to Rourke's representatives for a comment on the matter.
Rourke rented the bungalow around the same time he departed from "Celebrity Big Brother UK" earlier this year after receiving a warning from the show's producers for inappropriate behavior. This behavior included comments about fellow contestant JoJo Siwa's sexuality.
Mickey Rourke, a former professional boxer, is renowned for his roles in films like "9 ½ Weeks" (1986), "Sin City" (2005), and "The Wrestler" (2008), for which he received an Oscar nomination.
