Rams Extend Safety Quentin Lake's Contract Through 2028 Season
The Rams have secured safety Quentin Lake for another three years with a contract extension. Lake had an impressive 2024 season, excelling in the slot position with 111 tackles, five passes defended, and two sacks. Despite an elbow injury in 2025, he had 61 tackles, 10 passes defended, one interception, and a sack in the first 10 games. Coach Sean McVay plans to have Lake back for the Wild Card round at the latest after opening his 21-day practice window.
Since being drafted in the sixth round four years ago, Lake has become a key player and team captain for the Rams. He has played 50 games, starting in 30 of them, and has accumulated 235 tackles, 22 passes defended, one interception, and four sacks in his career. With the recent extension, Lake is now committed to the Rams until the 2028 season.
