Mia McKenna-Bruce, who will play Maureen Starkey in the upcoming Beatles biopics, admitted that she was not a fan of the band initially. The four-part movie series, directed by Sam Mendes, will delve into the lives of each Beatles member: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The star-studded cast includes Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. Saoirse Ronan will portray Linda McCartney, Aimee Lou Wood as Pattie Boyd, and Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono. Other cast members include David Morrissey, Leanne Best, and James Norton.
McKenna-Bruce's knowledge of The Beatles was limited to a few songs before taking on the role.
