Backstreet Boys recently performed on New Year’s Eve at Sphere Las Vegas and have upcoming shows on Friday and Saturday. Their Into the Millennium residency is scheduled to end on Feb. 15, but AJ McLean hinted at the possibility of more shows at Sphere in the future. The band is open to the idea of reaching 100 shows at the venue and is willing to stay as long as they can.

Despite their busy schedule in 2026, including a residency in Düsseldorf, Germany, AJ McLean's solo album release, and involvement in reality shows, there is talk of new Backstreet Boys music. AJ mentioned that they have been working on something significant and are excited about the opportunity. The band is considering the possibility of creating a new album in the future.
