Early Saturday, a pursuit involving Fort Worth police resulted in a crash with severe injuries and a fatality. The incident began in the Fort Worth Stockyards around 2:40 a.m. when police spotted the suspect's vehicle driving in the wrong direction. After an initial attempt to stop the vehicle, the suspect made a U-turn and fled the scene. Subsequently, another patrol car tried to stop the vehicle, but the suspect evaded capture once again. The pursuit ended tragically when the suspect lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole near the 1500 block of East 4th Street.
