Coronation Street and Emmerdale Collide in Special Corriedale Crossover Episode with Public Vote Element

Soap fans are in for a treat as Coronation Street and Emmerdale are set to collide in a special crossover episode called Corriedale. The hour-long episode will feature characters from both soaps in an action-packed storyline that includes a deadly crash stunt. However, the public vote element of the episode has left soap boss Iain MacLeod feeling nervous. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for one of four duos to have a scene added into the episode, with the vote closing 15 minutes before the episode airs on January 5 at 8PM.
Iain MacLeod revealed that they have prepared scenes for each of the four pairings based on viewer suggestions. The online poll will allow fans to choose which pairing they want to see in the episode, with the winning scene being added last minute. MacLeod expressed his anxiety about the quick addition and the pressure of choosing the right scene on the night of the transmission.
The pairings for the vote include Roy and Nicola, Kirk and Sam, Carla and Charity, and Ross and Tracy. Each pairing has a unique dynamic, and MacLeod assured that all scenes are ready to go. The audience will have the final say on which pairing gets added to the episode. Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans can catch the special Corriedale episode on January 5 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
