BTS Announces Highly Anticipated 2026 Comeback with New Full-Length Album and World Tour

BTS, the global K-pop sensation, is gearing up for their highly anticipated comeback in 2026. The iconic seven-member group, consisting of RM, JUNGKOOK, SUGA, JIN, JIMIN, J-HOPE, and V, is set to release a new full-length album on March 20, 2026, marking their first full album in almost four years. The announcement was made by their label, BigHit Music, on their official X account.
Leading up to the official announcement, BTS hinted at the significance of the March 20 date in handwritten messages to their fanbase, ARMYs. Members like RM expressed their excitement for the comeback, with Jin and J-Hope also sharing their anticipation for reuniting with their fans as a group.
In addition to the album release, BTS also teased a world tour to accompany their reunion in 2025, which is expected to take place this year. The group began recording the new album after their reunion last year, following their previous full-length album, Be, from 2020, and the compilation record, Proof, from 2022. The upcoming album is said to reflect each member's thoughts and ideas, with the group approaching it with the same passion as when they first started.
After being on hiatus since June 2022, BTS members focused on fulfilling mandatory military service in South Korea and pursuing solo projects. As fans eagerly await the new album, they can revisit BTS's 2022 compilation record, Proof, to get a taste of what's to come.
