Meet IU Football's Newest Defensive End: Chiddi Obiazor

IU football has secured a commitment from transfer defensive end Chiddi Obiazor from Kansas State. Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 275 pounds, Obiazor hails from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and brings two seasons of eligibility to the Hoosiers. He was recognized with All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades last season after recording 28 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. Additionally, Obiazor tallied 19 quarterback hurries and 30 total pressures during his sophomore year. In his freshman season in 2024, he was named honorable mention Big 12 defensive freshman of the year and received academic All-Big 12 honors. Obiazor's commitment marks the eighth transfer portal addition for IU football since Sunday.
