Oakland County Resident Wins $1 Million in Michigan Super Raffle
A resident of Oakland County, Michigan, recently won $1 million in the Super Raffle held in November. The lucky winner, a 30-year-old man who preferred to remain anonymous, purchased his winning ticket at Kakoz 2 LLC in Sterling Heights. His winning number, 172580, was drawn as a $1 million prize on November 19. The man expressed his disbelief and relief upon discovering his win, stating that he felt stress-free and like a weight had been lifted off his chest. He visited the Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his prize and opted for a one-time lump sum payment of approximately $693,000, which he plans to save.
The Super Raffle game offered a top prize of $6 million along with two $1 million prizes. Additionally, there were 12 $100,000 prizes, 3,500 $500 prizes, and 15,000 $100 prizes up for grabs. In the same drawing, a Westland woman also won one of the $100,000 prizes.
