2026 Greek Community Cup Women’s Tournament Returns to Northcote City FC
The upcoming 2026 Greek Community Cup Women’s Tournament is scheduled to take place this summer at Northcote City FC from 30 January to 15 February 2026. Following a successful debut in 2025, the women’s competition is back at Northcote City FC, known for its high-quality playing environment and vibrant atmosphere, making it a popular event in the women’s football calendar.
Last year’s final saw an exciting match between Box Hill and Keon Park, with Box Hill emerging victorious with a 2–1 win. Due to the strong interest from clubs and the growing momentum, organizers anticipate an even larger turnout for the 2026 tournament.
Tournament Organiser Michael Karamitos emphasized the positive feedback received from the inaugural competition, underscoring the importance of investing in the women’s tournament. The goal is to provide a well-organized and competitive tournament that not only supports clubs but also showcases the talent within women’s teams.
Clubs are now invited to register their teams and gear up for another thrilling summer of women’s football. The Greek Community Cup is proudly presented by the Greek Community of Melbourne in partnership with Australian Football Skool and GCTV Incorporated. The tournament will once again be hosted at Northcote City FC, with the generous support of Nikos Cakes and the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
