Kelvin Evans faces charges of entering a vehicle with the intent to steal and criminal trespass. He allegedly took various items, including jump drives with unreleased music, show plans, AirPods, and a MacBook Pro. Evans' next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 11 for case management.
The incident occurred on July 8 when police responded to a report at Krog Street NE, where Beyoncé's choreographer and a dancer reported the car break-in at a parking deck. Beyoncé was in Atlanta for her "Cowboy Carter" tour, which included four shows at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. In September, Evans was identified as the suspect by the police. He had been apprehended by Hapeville police on Aug. 26 for a parole violation. Evans was released from Fulton County Jail in October after posting a $20,000 bond.
