Celebrating Excellence in Casting: The 41st Artios Awards Nominees and Honorees

The Casting Society of America (CSA) has unveiled the nominees for the 41st Artios Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements in casting across various categories such as feature films, including comedy and drama, and different budget levels like big budget, independent, and low budget. The nominations encompass a diverse range of films, highlighting both mainstream and unconventional choices, with a particular emphasis on comedy casting, recognizing films like “The Naked Gun,” “Friendship,” and “Bob Trevino Likes It.”

Established in 1985, the Artios Awards annually acknowledge the pivotal role of casting professionals in various entertainment mediums, including film, television (both scripted and unscripted), short films, commercials, and theater. The awards also pay tribute to special honorees for their significant contributions to the casting industry. The nominees and winners are determined by members of the Casting Society. The upcoming awards ceremonies will be hosted by Harvey Guillén in Los Angeles, Jeff Hiller in New York, and Jessica Gunning in London.

The Artios Awards ceremonies are scheduled to take place at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, the Edison Ballroom in New York City, and One Moorgate Place in London on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The nominees span various categories, including big budget comedy and drama, animated features, studio or independent films in both comedy and drama genres, international films, and low budget films in comedy or drama.

Among the additional honorees for the 41st Annual Artios Awards are Ayo Davis, who will receive The Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement for her role as president of Disney Branded Television. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will be honored with The Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award for its philanthropic efforts in supporting individuals facing HIV/AIDS and other critical illnesses. Casting director Julie Ashton will be presented with The Hoyt Bowers Award for her outstanding contributions to the casting profession, and former CSA administrator Laura Adler will receive The Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award for her dedication to humanitarian causes that have benefitted the casting community.
