Janelle and Kody Brown: A Unique Plural Marriage Journey

Janelle Brown and Kody Brown's unique plural marriage took a non-traditional path before their split in 2022. Janelle and Kody's relationship had deep roots as they were stepsiblings before becoming spouses. Janelle became Kody's second wife after he was already legally married to Meri Brown. Kody later added Christine as his third spiritual wife in 1994 and legally married Robyn in 2014. Together, Janelle and Kody raised six children, including Logan, Madison, Hunter, Robert Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah. Tragically, they faced the loss of their son Garrison in 2024.

Janelle reminisced about meeting Kody in 1989 and feeling a strong connection with him. After ending her first marriage to Adam Clark Barber, Janelle entered into a spiritual union with Kody. Kody's first wife, Meri, and Janelle's ex-husband, Adam, are siblings. Kody and Meri share a son named Leon.

Following their courtship, Janelle and Kody spiritually tied the knot, solidifying their relationship. The following year, Kody welcomed Christine as his third wife, expanding their family. Christine and Kody have six children together, including Paedon, Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truly.

Janelle and Kody celebrated the birth of their first child, Logan, who has since graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Their journey as a plural family has had its highs and lows, culminating in their split in 2022 and the tragic loss of their son Garrison in 2024.
