Remembering LaToya LaSha Moore: A Celebration of Life

Funeral services for Mildred Adele Gibson Stirgus will be held on Saturday, January 10 at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 A.M. with Bishop John Williams officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 9 from 1-6 P.M., with the family present from 5-6 P.M. Mildred, a retired respiratory therapist, passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 68. She is survived by her husband Wyane Stirgus, daughter Meredith Stirgus, son Adam Stirgus, two brothers, and a host of relatives and friends.

LaToya LaSha Moore, born on March 17, 1981, passed away on December 26, 2025. Known for her warmth, compassion, and joy, LaToya will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She is survived by her mother, father, sister, brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. LaToya's life was filled with love and laughter, leaving a lasting impact on those around her. A funeral service to honor her life will be held on January 10, 2026, at C J Williams Mortuary Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi at 11:00 AM.
