Rookie NYPD Officer Under Internal Review for OnlyFans Account
A rookie NYPD officer in Queens is currently under internal review due to explicit content linked to her OnlyFans account. Officer Dannah Battino, 28, who joined the NYPD in April 2025 and is stationed at the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst, is being investigated by the Internal Affairs Bureau for potentially violating NYPD regulations by operating a subscription-based OnlyFans account featuring sexually explicit material. Since Battino is still in her probationary period, termination could be a possible outcome.
Before joining the police academy, Battino worked as an FDNY emergency medical technician. Her OnlyFans account has been deactivated after images from it circulated within the department. It is unknown when the account was last active or how much income it generated. NYPD applicants are required to disclose all sources of income during the hiring process, and failure to do so could lead to dismissal.
The situation has raised questions about the NYPD's background check procedures, which typically involve reviewing social media and online activities. Some officials have expressed concerns about the department's standards and image, emphasizing the need for police officers to uphold certain standards. However, the Police Benevolent Association has defended Battino, stating that as long as she did not break any laws or compromise her job performance, her personal choices should not be a matter of public scrutiny.
The NYPD has confirmed that the matter is currently under internal review, and Battino has not provided any comments on the situation.
