Seeking Justice: Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident on I-695 Near Towson

Authorities are currently seeking the driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred on I-695 near Towson. The incident took place around 2:30 am on Sunday when a Toyota Camry rear-ended a Mitsubishi Outlander on the outer-loop between Providence and Dulaney Valley Roads. Following the collision, both vehicles pulled over to the left shoulder. A third car, identified as a Chevy Equinox, swerved and struck Ahmed Waqus Qayun Kahn, a 30-year-old Virginia resident who was a passenger in the disabled Toyota. Tragically, Kahn lost his life at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Equinox initially exited the vehicle but later fled the area. Maryland State Police believe the Equinox involved in the incident is a 2025 model and should exhibit damage to the front and passenger side.
