Cloud 9: Megan Moroney's Bold New Country Album

Megan Moroney is set to unveil her third studio album, Cloud 9, on Feb. 20. This 15-track album represents a new creative phase for Moroney while maintaining the authenticity that has defined her country music career. Describing the music as "sassy" with a touch of sarcasm, Moroney expresses her confidence and contentment in her life and relationships. Cloud 9 features previously released songs like "6 Months Later" and "Beautiful Things," as well as collaborations with Ed Sheeran on "I Only Miss You" and Kacey Musgraves on "Bells & Whistles."
Moroney shares that she dedicated herself to writing every day, either alone or with various songwriting partners, to create this album. The full tracklist, unveiled in an exclusive video, showcases a diverse range of songs, including "Wedding Dress," "Table For Two," "Medicine," "Stupid," "Convincing," "Who Hurt You?," "Wish I Didn't," "Waiting on the Rain," and "Bars & Tigers & Bears." The visuals accompanying the tracklist hint at a long-standing collaboration between Moroney and Sheeran, as well as the artistic influence of Musgraves on the project.
Approaching this album with a sense of self-assurance and clarity, Moroney emphasizes that Cloud 9 represents her current artistic peak. She acknowledges that not everyone may resonate with her music, but she is proud of the work she has created and is excited to share it with her audience. Additionally, a special Tiger Cloud – BTS Edition vinyl variant will be released, featuring exclusive cover art and behind-the-scenes content. With the success of "Tennessee Orange" propelling her forward, Cloud 9 is poised to be Moroney's most personal and fully realized album to date.
