Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield Announce Summer Tour Dates: A Rock Collaboration Not to Be Missed

Sammy Hagar and Rick Springfield are set to embark on a six-date tour this summer, starting on June 13 in St. Louis and wrapping up on June 24 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Hagar's Best of All Worlds tours have been a hit, focusing on his time as Van Halen's lead singer with support from former bandmates Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff. Keyboardist Gregg Phillanganes will join the quartet for this tour, replacing Ray Thistlewayte. Springfield and Hagar's musical connection dates back to 1981 when Springfield covered Hagar's hit "I've Done Everything for You." Despite the success of Springfield's version, he has always praised Hagar's original. The two rockers collaborated on a line of rums in 2020 and have expressed interest in touring together. Tickets for the tour go on sale on January 16, with pre-sales starting on January 13. The tour dates are as follows: June 13 in St. Louis, June 14 in Noblesville, June 17 in Mt. Pleasant, June 19 in Clarkston, June 22 in Holmdel, and June 24 in Mansfield. Hagar will also perform two shows without Springfield on June 26 and 27 in Maryland.
