George Martin: The Scores - A Tribute to the Beatles Producer's Musical Legacy

Curvebender Publishing is set to release a three-volume book collection titled George Martin: The Scores in April to honor the 100th birthday of Beatles producer George Martin. The collection includes full-sized reproductions of Martin's handwritten scores, commentary on the musical pieces, and new orchestral recordings made at Abbey Road Studios in London. Paul McCartney has written the foreword for the collection.
The project began over a decade ago with Martin's close cooperation before his passing in 2016. The volumes feature scores for Beatles and McCartney solo songs, as well as compositions for other artists. Some manuscripts include discarded arrangement ideas that differ from the final recordings.
Volume I covers scores from 1965 to The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, Volume II spans from 1967 to The White Album, and Volume III covers from Abbey Road to Martin's final score in 2006. The new recordings of Martin's arrangements allow listeners to hear the pieces more clearly and analyze them in detail.
Pre-orders for three versions of George Martin: The Scores are available on Curvebender Publishing's website. The Standard Edition includes the three volumes and a USB drive with multitrack audio files, priced at $400. The Deluxe Edition adds a bonus clamshell case with additional items and costs $495. The limited Signature Edition includes a signed page by Martin and is priced at $3,000.
