Rock Legends Unite: Hollywood Vampires and The Damned Live at Cardiff Castle
Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper, along with their rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires, are set to return to Wales for their first live shows in nearly three years. The band, which also includes Aerosmith's Joe Perry and rock musician Tommy Henriksen, will be performing at TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on Friday, August 14. Special guests for the event will be punk legends The Damned. Formed in 2015, Hollywood Vampires came together to pay tribute to rock's fallen heroes and celebrate their shared love of music. Named after Alice Cooper's 1970s drinking club that included rock legends like John Lennon and Keith Moon, the band is known for their high-energy live performances that mix original songs with covers of classic rock hits. Their sets feature songs from iconic bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC, as well as hits from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith.
Joining Hollywood Vampires in Cardiff will be The Damned, a punk and Goth-Rock band with a storied career spanning 50 years. The Damned are set to release a new album, "Not Like Everybody Else," on January 23, dedicated to their founding guitarist Brian James who passed away in 2025. With 12 studio albums and numerous chart-topping singles, The Damned are true legends in the music industry.
