Coast Guard Intercepts Small Boat with Nine Undocumented Migrants Near Black's Beach
The U.S. Coast Guard recently intercepted a small boat carrying nine undocumented migrants approximately 19 miles west of Black's Beach. The Coast Guard Cutter Robert Ward encountered the vessel, which was traveling at a high speed, and successfully detained all individuals on board without the use of force. The nine individuals claimed Mexican nationality and were transported to the Department of Homeland Security agency at Ballast Point.
