Former Florida Gators Quarterback DJ Lagway Signs with Baylor: A New Chapter Begins
DJ Lagway, the former Florida Gators' quarterback, has made a significant decision for the upcoming football season by signing with Baylor. Lagway, a former five-star recruit, entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Florida and considered other schools like Florida State, Virginia, Ole Miss, and Duke. Ultimately, the 20-year-old chose Baylor, following in his father's footsteps, who played for the Bears in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Injuries hampered Lagway's time at Florida, limiting his participation in spring practices and affecting his performance during the 2025 season.
