Kansas men's head basketball coach Bill Self was hospitalized on Monday due to feeling unwell. He was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for IV fluids as a precautionary measure. Self will not be traveling with the team to Boulder for their game against Colorado. This is not the first time Self has faced health issues, as he missed tournaments in 2023 and underwent a heart procedure. Despite his health challenges, Self has an impressive coaching record with the Jayhawks, being the winningest coach in Jayhawk history with 609 wins.
