Christina Hodson Revealed as Writer for Batman DCU Movie 'The Brave and the Bold
The writer for the upcoming Batman DCU movie, The Brave and the Bold, has been revealed as Christina Hodson. Hodson, known for her work on DC movies like Birds of Prey and The Flash, has been kept under wraps by director James Gunn, possibly to shield her from the pressure of writing a Batman screenplay. There may be significant creative changes happening with the project, and Hodson's involvement could be part of another DCU project. Despite the secrecy, it seems that Hodson is the writer Gunn has been referring to in recent statements.
Gunn and Peter Safran announced The Brave and the Bold as part of the first slate of DCU projects, with the film focusing on a father-son dynamic between Bruce Wayne (Batman) and his son, Damian (Robin). Director Andy Muschietti was initially attached to the project, but it is unclear if he is still involved. The movie will feature a different version of Batman from Robert Pattinson's portrayal in The Batman by Matt Reeves.
