Long Live Love: Sugar's Comeback Tour and New Single Announcement

Sugar, the alt-rock trio led by Bob Mould, is making a comeback with new shows and a fresh single titled "Long Live Love." The track, originally penned by Mould almost two decades ago, has a nostalgic feel and was produced by Butch Vig of Garbage fame. The single is set to be released on May 1 by BMG, along with the previously released "House of Dead Memories." The music video for "Long Live Love" was directed by Lee Gregory.
The Love You Even Still Tour will kick off in Europe following the London performances in May, with stops in Germany, France, and Spain, among others. North American shows are scheduled from August to September, with performances in cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, and Boston. Sugar will also have multi-night stands in Minneapolis and Philadelphia. Tickets for all shows will go on pre-sale on January 27 and general sales on January 30, with a portion of the proceeds supporting LGBTQ+ organizations.
Bob Mould, known for his work with Husker Du in the '80s, has continued his music career as a solo artist. Sugar's last album was released in 1994, and their debut album was celebrated with a limited edition 4LP box set in November. The band's upcoming tour dates include stops in New York, London, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Bristol, Nottingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Antwerp, Utrecht, Lausanne, Alava, Denver, Seattle, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington, DC, Brooklyn, Boston, Hudson, Cincinnati, Nashville, Atlanta, and Athens.
