The trial is scheduled for May, and Swift was previously subpoenaed as a witness in Baldoni's defamation countersuit against Lively, which has since been dropped. In the unsealed messages, Lively expressed her concerns about Baldoni while filming "It Ends With Us," referring to him as her "doofus director." According to Sigrid McCawley, a member of Lively's legal team, the newly disclosed evidence highlights the documented concerns of Lively and others regarding sexual harassment on set. The evidence suggests that Wayfarer Studios failed to address these concerns and instead retaliated against those who spoke up.
In response, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Feldman, stated that the evidence does not support the claims made against Baldoni. He remains confident in the legal process and believes in clearing Baldoni's name. Swift's representative has not yet provided a comment on the matter.
