Jon-Eric Sullivan, the new general manager, previously worked for the Green Bay Packers as the vice president of player personnel. Jeff Hafley, the new head coach, also joins from the Packers, where he served as the defensive coordinator. Hafley brings coaching experience from his time at Boston College before moving to Green Bay in 2024.
The Dolphins made changes after a disappointing season, parting ways with former general manager Chris Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel. The team will need to address various issues in the offseason, including the quarterback situation. Starter Tua Tagovailoa was benched for the last three games in favor of rookie Quinn Ewers. Tagovailoa still has two years left on his contract, signed in 2024. The Dolphins have not won a playoff game since 2000, the longest drought in the NFL.
