Pokémon TCG Pocket: Fantastical Parade Expansion Unveiled with Mega Gardevoir ex and Stadium Cards
The Pokémon Company has unveiled the latest expansion for the mobile card battling game “Pokémon TCG Pocket” called Fantastical Parade. This new expansion will introduce a variety of powerful support cards, especially designed for Psychic-type decks. One of the standout cards in this set is Mega Gardevoir ex, which boasts high damage output and gains three Psychic energy each time it attacks, enhancing the strength of Psychic-type decks. The introduction of Mega Gardevoir ex is expected to revitalize the competitiveness of Genetic Apex’s Mewtwo ex, a previously popular card that had lost its edge in recent expansions due to power creep. Alongside new Pokémon, the Fantastical Parade expansion will also feature Stadium cards, a first for the game. These Stadium cards are placed on the field next to the active Pokémon and provide beneficial effects to both players. For instance, the Peculiar Plaza Stadium card allows players to reduce the retreat cost of their Psychic-type Pokémon by two energy, enabling easier switching of damaged Psychic-type Pokémon. The official release date for “Pokémon TCG Pocket”: Fantastical Parade is set for January 28, 2026.
