Remembering Kevin Johnson: A Tribute to the Former NFL Player

Former NFL player Kevin Johnson, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders, has passed away at the age of 55. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed. Johnson, originally from Southern California, began his football career at Los Angeles Harbor College before transferring to Texas Southern University. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 1993 but was released shortly after. Johnson then joined the Eagles in 1995, where he had a successful season with six sacks, 19 tackles, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown in 11 games. He continued to play for the Eagles in 1996, contributing one sack and 14 tackles in 12 games before being released in December.
