Denny Appointed as New Athletics Director at University of Oklahoma
Denny has been appointed as the new Athletics Director at the University of Oklahoma, taking over from Joe Castiglione, who retired in July 2025. Denny, who currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Illinois, is expected to finalize the deal soon. With extensive legal experience, Denny previously worked as a partner at a national law firm in St. Louis. He will now oversee the internal and revenue operations of the OU Athletics Department. Denny, a native of St. Louis, resides in Champaign, Illinois, with his wife and twin sons.
