Texas Longhorns Quarterback Arch Manning and Teammates Recovering from Offseason Surgeries for 2026 Season

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning recently underwent minor foot surgery as a precautionary measure to address a previous injury. While he will be limited during offseason workouts, he is expected to be fully recovered in time for the spring season. Manning's injury was not severe enough to keep him out for an extended period, and he is determined to return to the field at full strength.

In addition to Manning, five other Longhorn players underwent surgeries to address various injuries and ensure their readiness for the upcoming 2026 season. The players who had surgery include OT Trevor Goosby (shoulder), WR Emmett Mosley V (ankle), LB Ty'Anthony Smith (shoulder), WR Ryan Wingo (wrist), and DB Xavier Filsaime (shoulder). All these players are expected to make a full recovery and be back in action for the season.

Emmett Mosley V sustained his ankle injury during the Citrus Bowl win over Michigan, requiring assistance to the locker room and returning to the sideline on crutches with a walking boot. Despite the injuries, none of the players faced prolonged absences due to the surgeries. The team is optimistic about their return to peak performance for the upcoming season.

As the Longhorns prepare for the 2026 season, Arch Manning and his teammates are focused on getting healthy and aiming for a successful campaign. After a 10-3 record in his first full season as a starter, Manning is eager to lead the team to a championship-winning season. The Longhorns are determined to bounce back from their previous season's playoff miss and make a strong comeback under Manning's leadership.
