Golden Paws Gala: A Night of Glamour and Pet Fashion Extravaganza
Get ready for a glamorous night of pet fashion at the inaugural Golden Paws event, where Pekingese BeBe will be strutting her stuff in a stunning replica of Jennifer Lopez's iconic Golden Globes gown. Organized by Anthony Rubio, the event will showcase 13 fur babies dressed to impress on the red carpet at Racket NYC in Chelsea on January 26. BeBe's outfit was meticulously hand-sewn by Rubio, who spared no effort in recreating the intricate details of J Lo's ensemble.
This isn't BeBe's first time channeling the style of the Bronx singer-actress. Previously, she rocked a silver cut-out gown similar to one worn by Lopez at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024. Rubio, known for his pet couture designs, faced a challenge in replicating the black and white ensembles of the A-listers at this year's Golden Paws, but he rose to the occasion with creativity and skill.
Other furry fashionistas at the event include Finley, a Papillon dressed as Hudson Williams from "Heated Rivalry," and Kimba, a chihuahua sporting a Louis Vuitton gown inspired by actress Chase Infiniti. Dusty, a Pomeranian from Harrison, NY, channeled Glen Powell's velvet tuxedo look with a touch of coolness added by blue-tinted sunglasses.
