Violet Grohl Signs with Republic Records: Unveils 'Thum' and 'Applefish

The Los Angeles-based artist, who is the daughter of Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, announced her signing with the major label group under her own imprint, Auroura Records. Violet has also collaborated with her father on a cover of 'Nausea' by X in 2021 and has performed with Foo Fighters at various events, including tribute concerts for Taylor Hawkins and appearances at Glastonbury.
Notably, Violet joined the surviving members of Nirvana for a performance at the Fire Aid benefit concert in LA, where she took on lead vocals for the song 'All Apologies'.
