A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Episode 2 - The Tournament at Ashford Meadow
In the second episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Dunk arrives at Ashford Meadow for the tournament, hoping to prove his knighthood after his master's passing. As he struggles to find someone to vouch for him, the royal Targaryens, led by King Daeron II's sons, Prince Baelor and Prince Maekar, arrive at the event. Dunk faces a challenging encounter with Prince Aerion, Maekar's son, who displays a cruel and arrogant attitude.
During the tournament, Dunk overhears that two of Maekar's sons, Prince Daeron and Prince Aegon, are missing. As Dunk tries to gain recognition as a knight, Prince Baelor remembers Dunk's master, Ser Arlan, and vouches for him, allowing Dunk to compete. With a new sigil painted on his shield by Tanselle Too-Tall and armor acquired from Steely Pate, Dunk sets out to prove himself as a true knight.
Throughout the episode, Dunk reflects on his relationship with Ser Arlan and his desire to surpass his master's legacy. As he prepares for the tournament, Dunk is determined to become a great knight in his own right, setting the stage for his journey in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
