Legacy Continues: Oregon Ducks Secure Commitment from 4-Star Athlete Sam Ngata
The Oregon Ducks recently secured a significant commitment from 4-star athlete Sam Ngata, who is the son of Oregon legend Haloti Ngata. Sam, rated as the No. 274 overall player in the 2027 class and the No. 12 ATH in the nation, announced his commitment to the Ducks. He is listed as a linebacker and is expected to play on the defensive side of the ball in college. Standing at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, Sam currently plays at Olympus High School in Salt Lake City, UT.
Haloti Ngata, a Super Bowl champion with the Baltimore Ravens, had a successful 13-year NFL career, earning five Pro-Bowl selections and two First-Team All-Pro honors. He was a first-round pick in the 2006 NFL draft and was named a consensus All-American and Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2005. Sam Ngata's commitment to the Ducks adds to the family legacy at Oregon, following in his father's footsteps.
